North of England Dalmatian Club champ show
I took Mac and Seren to the club show, with the damper weather I didn’t want Loodles in a crate all day. The hall was cold and the matting got slippier and slippier as the day went on. Both showed their socks off in strong, large classes, but it wasn’t their day. Seren, particularly, didContinue reading “North of England Dalmatian Club champ show”
British Dalmatian Club Champ Show
It was a huge entry for the BDC Champ show, with a judge for the girls (John McCarthy) and a judge for the dogs (Mrs Jenvall). Lots of class clashes as we had 2 rings, but all three got short listed in big classes and Lottie got reserve in her mid limit class, so aContinue reading “British Dalmatian Club Champ Show”
Midland Counties Champ Show
We took all three Spots to Stafford showground for Midland Champ show, under judge Bill Deamer. The classes were huge, so no placings for any of the Spots, but they all looked great.
Birmingham City Champ Show
A first for us, we’ve not been before. Dave drew the short straw and the very early start to come with me as we were taking all 3 Spots. He was rewarded with a bacon and egg butty for breakfast and a very a nice late lunch! He also had the responsibility of taking theContinue reading “Birmingham City Champ Show”
The Welsh Kennel Club Champ Show
It’s only the 2nd time I’ve gone to Builth Wells for a show, it’s not that far, but it takes nearly 4 hours! We booked a lovely AirBnB about 30 minutes from the Showground to make it easier to get to in the morning. It was a really cold, wind day, struggled to believe it’sContinue reading “The Welsh Kennel Club Champ Show”
Mac’s critique from DCoS
Mac’s critique from Dalmatian Club of Scotland, judge Lauran WheatonVeteran dog2nd Wallington’s Sophtspot In The Zone – He pushed the first dog all the way, it wasn’t a straightforward decision. This boy is also handsome with a masculine head. Well balanced, nicely boned, good feet, nice depth and width of chest. He has good angulationContinue reading “Mac’s critique from DCoS”
Boston Champ show
Ellie and I went to Boston Champ show with Seren and Lottie. We’ve never been to the Rutland showground so it was a bit of an adventure for us, and started with a quick stop for breakfast at MacDonalds. Ellie does love a hash brown or two 🤣. It was a lovely day and weContinue reading “Boston Champ show”
Critique from the Dalmatian Club of Scotland champ show
We only took Seren to Scotland in May. After the Scottish Kennel Club Champ shows successes, she did well at DoCS champ show, getting 2nd in a strong Post Graduate class, her last Post Graduate class. Seren’s critique from judge K Nathan –PG 2 Wallington’s Ailsadot Astral Lyra black, attractively marked with a really feminineContinue reading “Critique from the Dalmatian Club of Scotland champ show”
Critique from the Scottish Kennel Club May Show
Seren’s critique from the May SKC show. Thank you to judge Jenny Wright for such a comprehensive, honest and helpful critique.I always find showing Seren more stressful than Lottie or Mac, maybe it’s because she’s my homebred baby, and my pick of the litter, but I love what she does in the ring and howContinue reading “Critique from the Scottish Kennel Club May Show”
