We’re not just show dogs!

First and foremost out Spots are family pets, their ability to show and success in the show ring is very much a secondary thing for us. So I thought I’d share some of our non show time –

We’ve had a week’s holiday in Norfolk. We just took Mac, the girls stayed with Angie for the week, where Seren trained Andy to throw a ball in demand!! Snow!!

Eira’s first experience of snow! I have to confess to being disappointed at how little we got in the Eden Valley, but it did last a while.

Blue litter play date

I love arranging play dates for the puppies, I try to arrange a few up until their 1st birthday. It helps reinforce their sibling bonds and means that they will be ok meeting up over their life times. It also gives the owners a chance to meet, and get to know each other. Mud, glorious mud!

We took the Spots to a secure field, as Mac is super sensitive to smells at the moment so has to be on a lead for walks. The secure field allows him to mooch around rather than going where I am.
