What an early start!! Out at 5am with Mac, Seren, Eira and Beth to go to Edinburgh for the day. Our judge was Gillian Marley, who had previously judged Mac and Seren before. Sadly both girls were not placed in their classes, but I was pleased with both of them, especially Seren, who hasn’t beenContinue reading “Scottish Utility BreedsClub Champ Show”

Crufts and Discover dogs
Eira was lucky enough to get a slot on the Dalmatian stand in Discover Dogs. She shared the slot with the lovely Albie, and they got on like a house on fire. Eira was really good with the public, especially the children, so gentle and calm with them. She enjoyed all the treats and fuss!Continue reading “Crufts and Discover dogs”
Manchester champ show
We just took Eira to the show. She had a busy day as we’d entered puppy and 2 stakes classes. Nothing in any of the classes for her but she is settling nicely.
Some Critiques for Eira
BUBA Champ Show under Janet Kay Dalmatian – Novice Bitch 1ST – Ailsadot Blue Orchid (Mrs C Wallington) (L) This youngster needs time as a minor puppy; she was a little bewildered by the show ring. Saying that she was a lovely, shapely girl with ample, round bone and substance. Her head was feminine withContinue reading “Some Critiques for Eira”
Ladies Kennel Association Champ Show
First time we’ve been to LKA, and I love that it’s at Stafford, so much closer to home than the NEC! Eira was in Minor Puppy B, and came first in a strong class. She was much more settled, and on a new snake chain, gold rose coloured to compliment her liver spots. She copedContinue reading “Ladies Kennel Association Champ Show”
British Utility Breeds Association Champ show
Yesterday I took Eira and Seren to BUBA, first time managing the two girls on my own, but it all went smoothly. Eira was up first, having 2 classes, Minor Puppy Bitch and Novice Bitch. She nearly sent me flying in Minor Puppy, her movement was all over the place and rushed, so we didn’tContinue reading “British Utility Breeds Association Champ show”

OK for rear angulation, with well muscled quarters, and a good second thigh. Feet OK, but might benefit fromContinue reading “A few critiques”
North of England Champ show
Only Eira was entered, and unfortunately she still has issues when being presented to the judge, so no placing for her. She was better than the last show and happy to say hello to lots of people.
British Dalmatian Club Champ show
Lottie took Eira to Eira’s first champ show. It was a big entry, so loud and echoey. Eira was in a big minor puppy class and unfortunately was spooked so didn’t stand for the judge. she looked fab in the line up and ran well. Lottie was in her first class as a veteran andContinue reading “British Dalmatian Club Champ show”
