Lancaster and District Canine Society and Morecombe and Heysham Canine Association hold their open shows on the same date and at the same venue. We took Mac and Eira.
The breed judge for Lancaster was Megan Anderson, and both Mac and Eira won their classes, putting them in the challenge together.
The AV Utility Veteran class was judged by Brian Foster, and he placed Mac Group 1, which meant we would need to return on Sunday.
The judge for Morecombe was Agnes Murphy, and both Eira and Mac placed 2nd in their classes.
We returned for the Best Veteran in Show on Sunday, where the Veterans were judged by KC Newman-Jones. It wasn’t Mac’s day be he did his best, I couldn’t have asked for more.
