Some critiques from recent and not so recent shows!

Mac’s critique from Gillian Marley at Scottish Utility Breed Association Champ show, 11th April 2025.

VD/B (5) 1 Wallington, Sophtspot In The Zone. At nearly 10 years old this boy has a balanced outline. I liked his size, he is in very good overall condition both in substance and muscle tone. He has a pleasing head and expression with good pigmentation. He still holds his topline and is well bodied, good bone and tight feet. His chest is deep and he is well angled both front and rear. He is a happy and sound mover. BV

1 year old l/s female.  Elegant head.  with correct eye colour and lovely marked ears.  Nice reach of neck into well defined withers.  Good depth of chest.  Well-muscled without being overdone in any way.  Correct tail set. Elbows carried closely to her body.  Good width of thigh.  Nice angulated rear with well let down hocks.  Level topline which she held on the move.  Covered the ground well.

ton’s SOPHTSPOT IN THE ZONE. Quality b/s, altogether a shade bigger and not as

compact as 1. Lovely head, eye and expression, pigment not quite 100% today. Good neckline and front

assembly, round bone with tight feet and decent width in front from well developed ribcage. Strong wide

loin and powerful well muscled hindquarters which show good bend in stifle and width in second thigh.

Uses himself well and shown in lovely gleaming white coat which is nicely marked and excellent firm muscle

and body conditioning. Very sound up and back, showing power and rhythmic strides in profile and a good showmanship.

Hi, I am the lucky slave to three beautiful, charismatic black spotted Dalmatians, Mac, Lottie and Seren, our homebred baby, as well as Eira, our beautiful, full of life, liver spotted homebred baby. Our kennel name, Ailsadot, is in memory of our beautiful Ailsa, who we lost far too young.
