Formby Beach

With the weather being so hot we decided to head to the beach for an early morning run, let the Spots let of some steam, but keep cool in the sea. The tide was at it’s lowest so we had a bit of walk down to the sea. The Spots loved chasing each other and the wading birds! They spent a happy 2 hours messing around in the water and along the shore line.

We were leaving the beach as everyone else was arriving, that’s my idea of a good walk, plenty of empty space for the dogs to roam in.

After spending the morning snoozing off their exercise, the Spots had frozen Toppls for lunch, a way of keeping cool and having a different type of exercise in this very hot weather. Licking and chewing activities are calming and tiring activities, so perfect for hot days when they can’t get out as much.

Hi, I am the lucky slave to three beautiful, charismatic black spotted Dalmatians, Mac, Lottie and Seren, our homebred baby, as well as Eira, our beautiful, full of life, liver spotted homebred baby. Our kennel name, Ailsadot, is in memory of our beautiful Ailsa, who we lost far too young.
