Whilst Crufts is the biggest dog show in the world, it’s still a dog show, just one that means long days! Only the girls came along, we decided taking 2 cars was a bit much, Dave wasn’t bothered about going, and Mac prefers to stay at home and mooch, rather than be benched for hours.Continue reading “Crufts Weekend”

Discover Dogs at Crufts
I love taking the girls’ to do Discover Dogs at Crufts. It’s a great opportunity to show off our amazing breed and dispel some myths people have about them. Both girls’ love saying hello, especially Lottie, who spent the 2 and a half hours smiling and sneezing at everyone! Seren found it a bit tiring,Continue reading “Discover Dogs at Crufts”
The Joint Dalmatian Clubs Champ Show
All three Spots went to the last Joint Dalmatian Clubs Champ show, and all came home with a rosette and place card. Seren was up first in a large Yearling class, and placed 3rd. I was pleased with this placing as she was a bit of a fidget bum, and kangarooed a bit on theContinue reading “The Joint Dalmatian Clubs Champ Show”

Spring is coming
Finally the signs of Spring are appearing. It’s hard to believe that this time two years ago we were planning the Ailsadot Astral litter. Both Mac and Lottie have matured nicely over the last couple of years, and Seren is beginning to mature, she’s still very much a puppy mentally, and going through another growthContinue reading “Spring is coming”
Cumberland Canine Association open show
As we were spending the weekend in the Lakes, we popped up to Penrith to support the Cumberland show as it has breed classes. We just took Seren and she placed a respectable 2nd in a Post graduate class of 7.
Ringside photoshoot
I was really lucky to get Jenny Evans from the JackPack to take some ring side photos of Seren at Lichfield. Whilst we always take photos, it’s not the same as getting the professional ones done. Jenny took loads, particularly of Seren moving, due to how we stood in the ring. I had to haveContinue reading “Ringside photoshoot”
Lichfield Canine Society Premier Open Show
Just Seren for the trip to Staffordshire County Showground for this open show. There was a nice entry for the Dalmatians as the original judge is a breed specialist. Seren was in Post graduate, along with 4 other dogs. she moved like a dream and won the class. She went onto to challenge for BestContinue reading “Lichfield Canine Society Premier Open Show”
Manchester Champ Show
Our first time to this show, just the girls’. It was in the main hall at the Staffordshire County Show ground. It was very loud and the benching was away from the ring. As it’s the last chance to qualify for Crufts, the classes were large, 11 in Seren’s and 15 in Lottie’s. It wasContinue reading “Manchester Champ Show”
