Another great night at ringcraft. Mac stood beautifully and ran really well. He was just very vocal and sniffy š¤¦š½āāļø Seren also had a go, she was very bouncy, just like a kangaroo! The two of them had some down time and fusses with Beth.

First ringcraft in a while
After months away, I took Mac back to ringcraft tonight. Considering he hasnāt been in a ring since February 2020, he coped really well. it was great just getting back into the swing of showing and seeing faces I havenāt seen in months and months. We took Seren too, she sat in her crate, hadContinue reading “First ringcraft in a while”
Weāve been bit quiet because ā¦
Weāve had puppies, well Lottie and Mac have had puppies! We welcomed 11 pups into the world and our home in April, 5 boys and 6 girls. They grew so fast, before we knew it they were earring solid food, playing outside all day and being cheeky! The time for them to go to theirContinue reading “Weāve been bit quiet because ⦔
A day out
As lockdown is lifting and it was a beautiful day yesterday, we took the opportunity to visit my parents. The Spots love where my parents live, plenty of space, water and cuddles. They had a lovely day, mooching, paddling and chilling out.
Chillingā
Everyone thinks that Dalmatians are very active … mine actively sleep! After their morning stomp, they love nothing better than to sleep in the sun until lunchtime! It does have its advantages as I can get on with my work in peace, well apart from the odd bout of snoring or dream squeaking!
Posing with the daffodils
We are lucky to have a little village green that always has beautiful daffodils at this time of year. Every year I intend to get photos of the Spots with the daffodils and every year I donāt get round to it. So this year I have had a couple of special outings to the greenContinue reading “Posing with the daffodils”
Play time in the paddock
Mac and Lottie get on really well and love playing together. However, they donāt often play on walks, even when there is lots of space, too busy moving forward and sniffing. So at least once a week I take them over to the paddock at work for a play. I also use the opportunity toContinue reading “Play time in the paddock”
āSingingā in Protest
Ellie plays the clarinet and we spend lesson and practise time splitting Mac up from her, as he does like to join in and sing along! Her music teacher thought it would be funny to teach Ellie Cruella da Vilaās theme tune from 101 Dalmatians… he had other ideas!
A bit of fresh air
The Spots are loving the girls being at home as it means extra walks, as the girls use the walks as their PE lessons, or just to escape or delay a lesson they arenāt keen on! The Spots arenāt complaining though, and Lottie loves getting the extra treats, she does love her treats!
Comfy there?
This is what happens when you leave the room … the Spot pinches your warm chair and snuggles up in your blanket! No respect for my space at all! I think he might have had some help and encouragement from a teenage daughter! He looked so comfy, I decided to leave him there.
